Mikey Sylvestri is a well-rounded athlete that got into motocross racing when he was about 7 years old. Competing at all the local tracks within California and Nevada.
During this time he also raced BMX and started to compete in free ski competitions for the Northstar at Tahoe free ride ski team for 6 years until a knee injury training for the U.S. Open of skiing changed his focus towards mountain biking that he had discovered during his recovery. Three years later he is one of the top downhill riders in the U.S. with hopes of competing in most major North American events including his first UCI World Cup.
