To me climbing has become much more than simply, just climbing. Climbing has led me to meet people and visit places that are unforgettable. Through climbing I have had experiences that have greatly enriched my life, and have learned skills that translate to helping me in various aspects of my life. Although climbing may be a frivolous activity to some, it is something that has given me a different perspective on life, nature, and myself.

At the moment I reside in Fayetteville, WV within walking distance of the rim of the New River Gorge. I currently work as a climbing guide in the area. On rest days I enjoy working in my garden or on my house and participating in activities such as: skateboarding, running, and cooking.
