I was born and raised in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. I grew up playing little league baseball and pop warner football until sophomore year of high school. I started racing mountain bikes when I was fifteen years old after being introduced to the sport through some friends. I immediately caught on and started digging my own trails around town while competing in the local Fontana Winter Series. After winning some jr. expert races I was picked up through Rich houseman by yeti cycles and started my first serious race season, traveling by myself all over the country. I ended up winning the Jr. Expert overall national series along with some other cool races. Soon after I was picked up by GT Bikes factory team with Marc Beaumont and Mick Hannah to do the 2009 world cup series. I ended up doing good at some world cups and crashing at a lot of others. It was an awesome experience that taught me so much about racing and really shortened my learning curve. I went on to race the nationals and select world cups the following season. For 2011- 2012 I am racing for the KHS Factory Race team with Logan Binggeli and Quinton Spaulding. This upcoming season will consist of a full world cup circuit so Im really looking forward to kicking it off in South Africa!
