I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. I basically grew up on 2 wheels, with my dad being an ex pro motocrosser, I quickly had some big shoes to fill. I started riding a bike when i was 3, and a few months after that started riding motorcycles. Growing up in a family that supported extreme sports was a big help to my career. I followed in the footsteps of my brother and started riding and racing mountain bikes. I was always the little brother and was happy to just be able to keep up. My first year pro was 2005 which was my senior year in high school, and i never looked back. Since then I have continued to compete in dirt jump/slopestyle comps around the world. My claim to fame is that i pulled off the first ever double backflip on a mountain bike (2006), But by far my proudest moment was winning Crankworx slopestyle in 2009.
